Why We Started

Destiny Blue was created with one simple vision...to offer a more personal way to experience the Great Barrier Reef.

After more than a decade working on the reef, Chris saw an opportunity to do things differently. Rather than large crowds and one-size-fits-all tours, he wanted to create boutique private charters where every guest could slow down, explore at their own pace and experience the reef in a more relaxed and meaningful way.

With over 10 years working on the Great Barrier Reef, owner and skipper Chris knows these waters like home.

Proudly 100% locally owned and operated, Chris has spent years exploring the reef's incredible coral gardens, secluded sand cays and hidden gems. His passion for the ocean, local knowledge and friendly approach ensure every charter is safe, relaxed and personalised.

Destiny Blue is more than just a boat, it's your home on the Great Barrier Reef.

Our spacious 15.6-metre catamaran has been designed for boutique private charters and small group experiences, offering plenty of room to relax, unwind and enjoy the journey in air-conditioned comfort.

Travelling at speeds of up to 25 knots, Destiny Blue reaches the reef in under an hour, giving you more time to snorkel, paddle board, explore secluded sand cays and create unforgettable memories with the people who matter most.
